Student Internships
The Hepatitis B Foundation coordinates the Student Internship Program
in collaboration with the Institute for Hepatitis and Virus Research (IHVR)
and the Drexel Institute. College students in their junior and senior
year are invited to apply for the Summer
Student Internship Program. The interns work with professional scientists
from the Institute for Hepatitis and Virus Research, the Hepatitis B Foundation
lab, and the Drexel Institute who provide valuable mentoring and supervision
of their individual projects. At the conclusion of the 10-week program,
student interns present their projects to the entire faculty in a special
seminar. The Internship Program is supported, in part, by a grant from
the U.S. Department of Education and a grant from the Merck Community
