University of Oxford Scholarships
In 2004, the Hepatitis B Foundation entered into an historic agreement
with the University of Oxford to sponsor a joint training program to recruit
college graduates into science. Candidates who have successfully completed
college or a STEER Fellowship are eligible to
apply through the Hepatitis B Foundation for enrollment into scientific
doctoral studies at the University of Oxford. This is only one of two
such programs the University of Oxford offers in the United States (the
second program is with The Scripps Institute in La Jolla, CA).
An admissions committee comprised of the Hepatitis B Foundation, Institute
for Hepatitis and Virus Research, and Drexel Institute will review all
applications. Qualified candidates will be presented to the University
of Oxford for their review and a final decision. If accepted by Oxford,
the Hepatitis B Foundation will provide a full tuition scholarship with
a small living stipend for up to two students. For more information, please
contact the Hepatitis B Foundation. |
