Postdoctoral Scientists

We are seeking two self-motivated postdoctoral scientists with a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology or related discipline to join our dynamic research team to investigate mechanistic properties and elucidate degradation pathway for candidate peptides being developed for treating gastrointestinal disorders.

Applicants should have a strong background in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and have an interest in learning and applying new skills to advance ongoing programs.

Key Skills and Responsibilities include:
Competency and proficiency in mammalian cell culture, Protein biochemistry and/or, Molecular Biology. Understanding and experience in the area of inflammation would be a plus.
• Working knowledge and experience in techniques pertaining to extraction and analysis of RNA.
• Ability to develop analytical/quantitative, molecular or biochemical assays.
• Ability to conduct experiments independently and with minimal supervision.
• Work in a highly collaborative manner.
• Outstanding personal initiative and communication skills (oral and written English).

• Train group members.

Salary:
Commensurate with qualification and experience
