Welcome to the Regional Biotech Council

The mission of the Regional Biotech Council is to provide a stimulating networking environment and strategic support for biotech entrepreneurs within the five county region of Southeastern Pennsylvania - Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Philadelphia and Bucks.

The Regional Biotech Council is hosted by the Institute of Hepatitis and Virus Research, the research affiliate of the Hepatitis B Foundation, and funded in part by a grant from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

2007 Biotech Conference

The Hepatitis B Foundation’s Regional Biotech Council presented its annual “Biotech Award for Outstanding Achievement” to Mr. Paul Raetsch, (Ret.) Director of the Philadelphia Regional Office, U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, at its 7th annual biotech conference.
