The Regional Biotech Council (RBC) announces its theme for the 2008 Annual Biotech Conference, Commercializing Academic Discoveries, and announces the Keynote speaker will be Dr. Dennis Cheek, VP of Education at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

The Biotech Conference will feature three leading industry presenters, a biotechnology entrepreneurship panel discussion, and the Council’s annual award for “Outstanding Achievement in Biotechnology”.

The 2008 conference is attended by more than 100 of the region's leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and professional service personnel in the Biotechnology industry. This is a must attend-event for Biotechnology industry professionals in Greater Philadelphia, New Jersey, and surrounding communities!

The 8th Annual Regional Biotech Conference is hosted by Regional Biotech Council (RBC), which is a program of the Institute for Hepatitis and Virus Research. The RBC mission is to provide a stimulating networking environment for emerging biotech businesses in the region.
