About the Regional Biotech Council

The mission of the Regional Biotech Council is to provide a stimulating networking environment and strategic support for biotec entrepreneurs as well as small and emerging biotech companies within the five county region of Southeastern Pennsylvania - Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Philadelphia and Bucks.

Our Activities

Since its inception in 2000 as the Regional Biotech Council (RBC), the Council has increased its active membership to more than 450 individuals, and 95 biotech and biotech-related companies, suppliers, clinical research organizations, and consultants in the five county region of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Our activities currently span regular meetings, special events, the Annual Biotech Conference, networking receptions, an interactive website and access to resources and support services dedicated to nurturing small and emerging biotech businesses in the region.

Numerous opportunities for companies to leverage their resources and technologies are available through the Council's services, which in turn ensure the Council's mission to help increase economic development in the region.
