The Regional Biotech Council (RBC) is sponsored by the Hepatitis B Foundation and its research affiliate, the Institute for Hepatitis and Virus Research (IHVR).
It is supported by, and funded in part through a grant from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
The IHVR, a designated Ben Franklin Innovations Center, was established by the Hepatitis B Foundation to conduct discovery research, advance education, nurture biotechnology and promote public health programs for those affected by hepatitis B and hepatitis C.
RBC meetings and the annual conference are held at the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center of Bucks County, which is a designated Keystone Innovation Zone. The Biotech Center was created (and is co-owned) by the Hepatitis B Foundation.
