The Institute for Hepatitis and Virus Research (IHVR) addresses public
health issues through its partnership with the Hepatitis
B Foundation, which has a comprehensive outreach and education program
to meet the needs of those affected by hepatitis B worldwide. The Hepatitis
B Foundation serves as a primary resource for hepatitis B information:

information and referral services, phone and email Help Lines, free B
Informed Newsletter, monthly
e-Newsletter, annual Patient
Conference, professional training seminars, and a strong advocacy
program at the state and national levels.
The IHVR scientists have an unique opportunity to interact on a daily
basis with the Hepatitis B Foundation outreach staff, which results in
a highly successful synergy of effort and commitment.
