Michael Xu, Ph.D.
 Michael, Ph.D., Dr. Xu is President of Enantigen Threapeutics, Inc., a drug discovery and development company for viral hepatitis and other life threatening diseases. In his current position, he manages the medicinal chemistry efforts for the discovery of novel therapipies for viral hepatitis.
Prior to founding Enantigen Threapeutics, Inc., Dr. Xu worked at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development L.L.C. as a medicinal chemist from 1999 to 2006. During his tenure at JNJ, he designed and synthesized novel antibacterial agents for clinical development.
Dr. Xu completed his Ph.D. at New York University with Professor James W. Canary, where he studied enantiosensors for chiral recognition. He is author of 11 peer reviewed articles and 4 patent publications and also holds an adjunct assistant professor appointment at Drexel University.
